The team of Electronic Arts (EA) published (1996) for PC CD-ROM and EA Canada is the developer of this game version. It was the first game launched in series of (NFS) who gets a biggest name in the gaming history. It was the one who support DOS but afterwards EA releases for Windows (PC). Minimum System requirements are OS DOS or Win95, Pentium 100 MHz, 30 MB HDD, DirectX 2 and 16MB RAM.
The objective is to lock on the rest of locked items by getting victorious in the race you played. The best part is this that you will get many cars and the many roads unlock in the beginning of the game and you will enjoy the music during race but in the original version of this game you will be enjoying the music in the menu only. The available cars in this version are Dodge Viper, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Corvette, Mazda RX7, Toyota Supra Turbo, and Acura NSX. Just choose your best favorite sports car and select the track for race. You can also customize the timing of the race and the weather.
You can play this game on two video modes (320x200 or 640x480) and also you can play on LAN (IPX) up to 8 players. In this version you will be chasing by Police cars, which will remind you another series of NFS like III Hot Pursuit, High Stakes, Hot Pursuit 2, etc.
